The Organizing Committee of the event extends its bases which include for the first time the participation of alternative music productions, represented by an institution linked to Culture.
This edition adds a new category to its prizes: Composer Award , which will be given to the author of a concert music piece included in one of the productions nominated in the competition.
Founded in 1997, the International Fair is organized by the ICM (Cuban Music Institute) and it is the most integrating event of the Cuban Music Industry, a preferential space to expose the main achievements of Cuban Music.
