With her film titled The Illusion, the graduate of the San Antonio de los Baños International Cinema and TV School, qualified in the demanding selection after having obtained a special mention in the documentary film category at the last Havana New Latin American Cinema Festival last December.

Using daring esthetics with a heartrending human experience, the film, a Cuba-Great Britain co-production, shows the meeting of the director with her father.
