Among the proposals of the encounter are the group exhibitions by visual artists from the regions of Las Tunas and Sancti Spiritus, as well as the conferences La importancia del arte en miniature (The importance of miniature art) and La historia de esta manifestación artística en las provincias del oriente de la Antilla Mayor (The history of this artistic manifestation in the eastern provinces of Cuba).

The Second Regional Salon of Miniature Art, which is to be part of the event, was also inaugurated. It brought together around thirty participants from the provinces of Villa Clara, Cienfuegos, Sancti Spíritus and Ciego de Ávila.

Among the guests to the event stand out Manuel Milián Amador, president of the National Miniature Art Group, Luis Oscar Duque Suárez, vice-president and Agustín Calviño, member of the National Executive, who will be in charge of selecting the best pieces.

The awards was handed in during the evening, as part of the Fountain Night, whose special guest for the occasion is Fidel Díaz, the author of the books El Diablo Ilustrado and Confesiones del Diablo Ilustrado.
