“Recorded with the company Bis Music, the new CD includes memorable, traditional pieces, with which Piloto and Klimax defend the Cuban identity and culture,” reported the website of the record company.
Pieces in the new CD include titles like ‘Solo tú y yo’ (Just You and Me), sung by renowned Cuban singer Omara Portuondo, ‘Rosita and Laura’, sung by Pablo Milanés and one of the singers of Klimax. The piece ‘Yo sé que me gusta esa mujer,’ played by Cuban pianist Chucho Valdés and a string orchestra and the hard work carried out by Piloto and his group, turn the CD into a beautiful proposal by Bis Music to be released next Spring.
The CD also includes fusions of son montuno, cumbia and good Cuban music with reggaeton that will delight Cuban youth, inviting them to dance.
Klimax is considered one of the most outstanding Cuban orchestras. Its director, Gerardo Piloto, is the son of a great Cuban composer.
The group plays all Cuban rhythms, as well as jazz and other Caribbean rhythms with a unique style, offering both traditional and contemporary Cuban music.
