The first march was held in 1953, the year of Cuban hero's 100th birth anniversary, and was led by a group of young people who six months later attacked two dictatorship's barracks.
Today's parade will be from the ruins of the "Real Carcel de La Habana" monument to the Fragua Martiana, where Marti was forced to do hard labor as an adolescent.
The march will end at the Havana University staircase, with a concert to celebrate the date.
