In Habana: First ballet performance dedicated to the Revolution

In the well known theater from the capital (called at the time Blanquita Theater), the public will be able to enjoy once again the dance group which on this ocassion will include the ballets A la caída de la tarde (By the end of the afternoon), a choreogtaphy by Alicia Alonso, with music by José Dolores Cerón and designs by Gisela Domínguez.
Ther will also be dances the choreography by Eduardo Blanco, Acentos (Accents) with music by Havana Calipso by the group Luna Negra, wardrobe by Salvador Fernández and the performances of Camilo Ramos, Yanier Gómez, Yonah Acosta, Serafín Castro and Alejandro Silva.
There is a special moment for El cisne negro (The black swan), pas de deux from the third stage of The Swan lake, a choreography by Alonso on the original of Marius Petipa and which included in that unforgettable performance the special performances of the legendary dancer and Igor Youskevitch.
The program ends with the ballet suite The Nutcracker (image) which will include the performance of the first dancers Annette Delgado and Joel Carreño together with solo dancers and the dance corps from the company.
Sources from the company also announced the performances in the García Lorca Room from February 6th to 8th of an attractive program that will include the reposition of the much applauded pieces of the last 21st Havana International Baller Festival.
