"In our case, we will disclose the high participation of Cuban women in all spheres of the society, as a result of respect and defense of their rights in 50 years of Revolution," Amador stated.
The Organization of Solidarity with the People of Africa, Asia and Latin America, the National Association of Economists, and the Cuban Association of the United Nations will also attend the meeting.
Cuba's Foreign Minister Felipe Perez Roque said last week that the text his country will present at the HRC February 5 is the result of a profound process.
"Over 200 Cuban NGOs sent their contributions to the office of the High Commissioner for Human Rights as part of this exercise," he noted.
"Cuba has a responsible, full record of cooperation with all human rights mechanisms applied on a universal, non discriminatory bases," Cuba's top diplomat stressed.
