Vazquez, also Vice President of Cuban Institute of Music, told Prensa Latina Venezuela, Argentina, Brazil and Bermudas, among others, will also participate in this edition.

The 25th edition of Jazz Plaza 2009, Feb. 12-15 will take place in 11 localities in the capital and in Plaza America Mall, in Varadero, in the western province of Matanzas.

Its main objective is to pay tribute to the founders of this music event, particularly characterized by the fact that participants are not remunerated for their performances, and visitors finance their trips.

The inaugural gala will take place at Casa de la Cultura in Plaza de la Revolucion, Amadeo Roldan Theatre and Mella Theatre.
