This will be the orchestra's first foreign tour of 2009 and under the direction of Angelo Pagliuca and Viktor Babarikin. Declared an Artistic Patrimony of Venezuela, the ensemble will play pieces from ldemaro Romero, Hugo Blanco, Pedro Elías Gutiérrez, Ernesto Lecuona, Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, Joaquín Rodrigo, and Tchaikovsky.

Guest soloists are violinist Alexis Cárdenas, oboist Jorge Alcarrá, and guitarist Flavio Sala, who will perform the famous Aranjuez Concert, by Spaniard Joaquín Rodrigo.
