El Tiempo daily, quoting Coach Henry Burgos, says they will return to their headquarter in Cumana, 497 miles east of Caracas, to pick the team to compete in June in Cuba's Giraldo Cordova Cardin tournament.

Their agenda includes the Cheo Aponte Cup from May 19- 23 in Puerto Rico, the World Amateur Boxing Championship from August 29 to September 13 in Italy and the Bolivarian Games in September in Bolivia.

Venezuela also readies for the AIBA President Cup to run from December 4-13 in Taipei.
