Launched in France the book Cuba: 50 años de Revolución

He approached Dominique Leduc, secretary of the French – Cuba association and between them started the Project. Calvo Ospina is the author of several books and he was in charge of coordinating the texts that were going to be included in the book.
"With the support of Dominique we found in the publishing house Le Temp des Cerise, people capable of getting into the project and then came the rest of the actors, as well as the kindness of the Cuban newspaper Juventud Rebelde that gave us the pictures", he explained.
The result could not be more eloquent. In record time was made a translation by Karine Alvarez, Héléne Anger, Simone Bosveuil, Carmen Caamaño, André Garand and Martine Latapie, the design was made by Anne-Charlotte Savarit and "voalá, as it is said in French.
A book which main attractive are the author of the texts. It includes parts of speeches made by Fidel Castro, Raul Castro, Ernesto Che Guevara, Camilo Cienfuegos, Carlos Lage and interviews and articles by personalities.
The articles and interviews are by Gabriel García Márquez, Danny Glover, Danielle Mitterrand, Eduardo Galeano, Pierre Richard, Ramón and Manu Chao, Jean Ortíz, Mariela Castro Espín, Paul Estrade, Alberto Granado, Maurice Lemoine and, off course by Hernando Calvo Ospina.
The prologue is made by Ignacio Ramonet and it has anthological topics with the look of actors such as Glover and Richard, the pen of Garcia Marquez and Galeano or the sharpness of Lemoine, chief editor of Le Monde Diplomatique, among many others.
It includes Elián González, the Five (Gerardo Hernández, René González, Antonio, Guerrero, Ramón Labañino and Fernando González), the terrorist attacks against Cuba, the education, health, culture and religion and the history of the last 50 years.
An evening at the Maison Fraternelle of the Light City, with the presence of Nancy Morejon, the bright Honoris Causa of the Cergy – Pontoise University, Leyde Rodriguez, the political councillor of the Cuban embassy in France and the writer Ramon Chao.
