Chilean Culture at Cuban Book Fair

The extensive presence of Chile, honorary guest at this Book Fair edition, will include several displays of fine arts and books, launching of some titles, a season of films and music, with recognized composer Isabel Parra and a childrens orchestra.
Cuba, on the other hand, will pay tribute to the homeland of Salvador Allende with the launching of relevant works by Chilean authors and a program of analysis of narrative technique, history, essay and the Chilean poetics, to be run at the San Carlos de la Cabana fortress.
Publishing houses and entities like the Chilean Book Chamber, the Library Direction, Archives and Museums, the National Council of Book and Reading, the Chilean Association of Editors and the Chilean Society of Writers, the Association of Book Artists, the Salvador Allende Foundation, and the Integral Foundation, among others.
The fair will be open at the Morro-Cabana site until February 22, and later continue in other cities of the country.
