Prince Al-Muhtadee, in his position as Senior Minister at the Prime Minister's office, asked Amores about Cuba's current position and praised the Caribbean country's results in the social field, especially in sports.
The officials discussed different topics and agreed on the need to identify fields of common interest that will allow the development of economic exchanges between the two nations.
The Cuban diplomat also met with Brunei's Minister of Culture, Sports and Youth and with the Minister of Industry and Primary Resources, and agreed to work on developing bilateral economic relations.
Cuba and Brunei belong to the Non Aligned Movement (NAM) and established diplomatic relations in 1997.
