The Guatemalan President will hold official talks with Raul Castro and visit places of economic, social and historic interest.
It will be Colom´s first visit to Cuba after he took office on Jan. 14, 2008.
During his stay in Havana, a park dedicated to the friendship between Guatemala and Cuba will be opened.
Bilateral cooperation includes Cubans teaching Guatemalan how to read and write with the "Yes I Can" method, following Colom´s wish to declare Guatemala illiteracy free in 2009.
Over 1,530 Guatemalans have already learnt how to read and write with the Cuban method so far.
