It maintains collaborations with Ballet companies from Belgium, Jamaica, Uruguay, Suriname, Panama, Algeria, Haiti, Russia, Belize, Italy and North American Folk dancers.
The excellent repertoire that makes them unique includes popular dances such as the Traditional son, Mambo, Cha Cha Cha, Danzon, Changuí and Cuban Salsa.
Among the more than twenty important songs from the group stand out Oda al Tambor (Ode to the Drum), Tumba Francesa, Fiesta Negra (Black Festival), Desfile de Orichas, Concierto de Canto y Percusión (Singing and Percussion Concert), Maní (Peanut) and Fiesta de Semana Santa (Gagá) among others.
The company also offers international folk dance workshops as well as Gagá, Tahona, Vodú, Haitian Merengue, a Rumba and Eastern Conga Cycle.
On occasion of the event to celebrate the 50th anniversary of its existence, this group that includes more than forty artists among dancers, musicians and singers with a high professional formation will undertake several actions that include a national tour, conferences and plastic arts exhibitions in order to celebrate the anniversary.
