She also said that the Power Plant Maintenance Company is working on the alignment of the motor-generator system, while the Holguin Electric Company has almost completed the commissioning of the electrical substation and the out line.
The Mechanical Company of the nickel industry is carrying out the maintenance of the valve system and is ensuring the production of cable clips and flanges for the pipes.
At the same time, Guantanamo Hydropower, who will manage the installation, is in charge of assembling the hydraulic adjustment, disconnection and other devices.
The country has 180 hydraulic systems that generate about 60 megawatts, while another 12 hydroelectric projects in collaboration with China are being developed.
