Every month, the Cuban specialists carry out health care campaigns in different areas of this West African country.

According to Cuban Ambassador Pedro Felix Dona, eight Cuban doctors working in Bissau, the capital, joined the five interns in Bafata and other Guinean physicians graduated from Cuban universities to treat more than 1,000 patients.

Besides seeing patients, the Cuban doctors teach Guinean medical students in a university facility in the area.
