Louis Michel, EU commissioner for Development and Humanitarian Aid heads the delegation aimed at strengthening political dialog.
The Vice President of the Council of Ministers Ricardo Cabrisas assured that the island will correspond with an important and high presence of investors.
Michel assured the European bloc's disposition of multiplying its association and cooperation with the island during a meeting with the Minister of Foreign Investment and Trade, Rodrigo Malmierca. Michel is carrying out his third visit to Cuba since April of last year and The distinguished visitor met with Cuban Foreign Minister Bruno Rodriguez. to the island accompanied by representatives of almost all of the departments of the EU.
He also informed that the European cooperation with Cuba increased to 40 million Euros which will be destined to programs of food security, cultural and educational development among others.
