The medical brigade was welcomed Sunday at the Honiara International Airport by Health Minister Johnson Koli, and other top officials.
The seven doctors join another two offering their services there since last year, in line with a cooperation agreement signed by the two governments on March 6, the daily recalls.
Koli called true friendship and brotherhood Cuba's willingness to help them with the sending of health specialists, and added his country is ready to learn from Cuba to improve health care.
