New Ambulances Reinforce Quality of Service in Las Tunas

Two of the ambulances were assigned to the northern municipality of Puerto Padre and other two to the southern territory of Amancio, what benefits people that need to move to different consultations in institutions of this provincial capital.
The crews are integrated by a nurse and paramedics that guarantee the transfer of the sick persons toward any center of the province, with the quality the service requires.
During 2008 the ambulances in Las Tunas, 690 kilometers to the east of Havana, transferred 63, 000 patients, of which 63 percent didn't constitute medical urgencies, for which there is another park of equipment that constitute a guarantee for those patients in a severe state.
