Mendive conceptualized this work when he explained to the press that he conceives the spirit as life energy, nature as the great home and heads as something divine, the perfect combination to create a huge world of love and peace.
The performance manifestation will start with a tour starting from the surrounding area of the Saratoga hotel, in the Prado Street from the capital, to the Origenes gallery, of the Gran Teatro of Havana.
In this location there will be opened to the public a painting, sculpture and installation exhibition of the renowned author throughout the entire biennial.
There will be close to 50 artists participating in the plastic action, among them dancers from Cuban Contemporary Dance Company, the National Folk Group and the Caribbean Dance company, from Santiago de Cuba.
The work by Manuel Mendive, 2001 National Visual Arts Award, may be distinguished by the presence of a conceptual world that interrelates surroundings, tradition, religion and syncretism with an African precedent.
