He informed that the first stage, until the end of next month, will cover hamlets in th municipalities of Guisa, Buey Arriba and Bartolomé Masó, all of them in the eastern province of Granma.
The addition of new instruments and sounds from the septet Comunitarios del son will contribute with more color to the presentations. There will also be added the inclusion of a cast of ten dancers, for the first time in the tour.
Reyes Blázquez pointed out that on this occasion there will be participating a professional group from the Antilla municipality, in the province of Holguín, with a show based on the stories of Juan Candela, a popular character created by Onelio Jorge Cardoso, the greatest Cuban storyteller.
The Guerrilla will premiere the play Picnic and it will also offer Érase una vez un presidente (Once upon a time there was a president), a version of Érase una vez un rey (Once upon a time there was a king) by the Chilean group Aleph, pieces that reflect upon the wars and the current economic crisis, he announced.
The program, dedicated to the 50th anniversary of the Revolution, includes theatre for children, magicians, clowns, troubadours and movie proposals, he added.
The Guerrilla de Teatreros, founded in 1992 in Granma, received the international Somos Patrimonio 2003 Award, by the organization Convenio Andrés Bello, among other awards.
