The pictures show a true mosaic of faces picked randomly who embody the features and multiracial composition of the Cuban people in every-day life.

Cuban Ambassador to Japan Jose Fernandez de Cossío attended the inauguration, along with members of the diplomatic corp.

Also present was Satoru Satoh, Director of the Foreign Ministry Office for Latin America and the Caribbean, politicians, members of Japanese solidarity organizations and personalities of the Japanese culture.
