The global economic crisis will top the Non Aligned Movement (NAM) ministerial summit in Havana. Seven days before this NAM preparatory meeting in Havana, 120 member and observer countries have confirmed attendance.
This meeting will arrange the agenda for the 15th NAM Summit Egypt will host from June 11 to July 16.
Along with the crisis, the most controversial topics on the agenda are disarmament and humanitarian interventions.
The NAM Coordination Bureau, with headquarters in New York, submitted the project on March 5 to 118 member countries to negotiate the amendments.
The talks from March 23 to April 8 split the document into three chapters: global affairs, specific situations and social and humanitarian affairs.
To attest to the interest o the matter are the negotiations with the Group of 77 plus China which were markedly economic.
