The Festival of Oral Narration, dedicated this time to the Caribbean, will begin on Sunday in Havana with a tribute to Peruvian writer Cesar Villegas and Mexico´s Marina Trejo. The festival will be also attended by Venezuelan short-story writers Celeste Ramirez and Leonardo Gamboa.
Today's agenda includes the traditional oral narration, with performances for adults.
Under the slogan "A bridge of oral narration," the event, to be run until Friday, will also include a colloquium on culture and the Caribbean oral heritage.
