Cuba invites people to visit their museums

To this collateral activities, organized by the National Council of Cultural Patrimony, can be added the workshop Historia y realidad de los museos (History and reality of the museums) with topics such as The triumph of the Cuban Revolution and Application of the museum policy, informs the Cubasi digital site.
In 1977 the United Nations Organization for Science and Culture (UNESCO) established the 18 of May as the International Museum Day.
From that moment on, every year, the International Museum Council chooses a topic or message that invites to reflect about the role of these institutions in society.
This time the choose topic is museum and tourism, as a way of meeting between cultures.
The invitation to the Cuban museums is almost permanent, especially in summer, as is the case with the project Rutas y Andares, with family tours through different places of Old
