Paz spoke of the richness and high quality of Cuban writing before the triumph of the Revolution on January 1, 1959, its continuity in the generation that began to shine during the 60s and the emergence of new authors during the 80s, the one to which he belongs.
The author of "El lobo, el bosque y el hombre nuevo", original screenplay of the famous film "Fresa y Chocolate", said his recent novel is a work dedicated to the search for friendship and love.
In an interview with an audience embracing journalists, narrators, poets and others, Paz said besides developing his personal work he wishes to participate in the collective project, in the sense of country and nation.
