As part of the activities organized to celebrate World Telecommunication and Information Society Day, May 17, and its theme Protecting Children in Cyberspace, several Cuban institutions will carry out initiatives to bring children closer to new technologies.

Community Computer Clubs have organized activities in the country’s more than 600 facilities.

Both the Ministry of Computer Sciences and Communications, and the Cuban Telecommunications Company (ETECSA) have also organized activities for this day, including a fair at EXPOCUBA that will include the presentation of children´s video games.
