"Aquí el que baila gana," by Juan Formell''s Van Van, and "Gracias," by singer Omara Portuondo won the Cubadisco 2009 Grand Prix.

Their musical productions stand out among over one hundred titles in 43 categories in the most prestigious contest of the country's phonographic industry, with Van Van setting a five-prize record, all of them under the EGREM label.

The Prize-awarding ceremony was held at the Havana-based Karl Marx Theater in a show featuring the cream of Cuban artists and guests from Puerto Rico, the country to which the Cubadisco festival was dedicated this year.
