"Cuba has already prepared a list of food that the country intends to import", said Guerrero.

The commodity turnover between Azerbaijan and Cuba is a small and symbolic, because of the high tariffs on maritime transport and the distance between countries.

Guerrero said that another priority area for development of bilateral relations is tourism, and Cuba is planning to sign another bilateral agreement is to develop this sector.

During Cuban delegation's visit to Baku, the Azerbaijani Ministry of Culture and Tourism and Culture Ministry of Cuba signed an agreement on the cooperation in the sphere of culture between.

Guerrero said that the agreement envisaged joint symposiums and fairs with participation of Cuban and Azerbaijani delegations. In addition, mutual days of culture will be held in Azerbaijan and Cuba.

The 2nd meeting of the Intergovernmental commission on the economy cooperation will be held in Baku on May 19.
