According to Prensa Latina news agency, the group of dancers, musicians, technicians and executives of the company organized and carried out five presentations in Egypt: three of them at the Great Theater of the Opera House of Cairo.

According to press reports, the audience was captivated by the show ˜Fuerza y Compás¨ (Strength and Compass) for its fusion of Afro- Cuban rhythms with the traditional Spanish flamenco, Arab dances and jazz.

A dozen newspapers and other news outlets broadcast or published videos, photos and articles related to the Lizt Alfonso ballet’s performances.

Before travelling back to Cuba, where they arrive on Friday, the members of the company placed a floral wreath at the monument dedicated to Cuban National Hero Jose Marti at the Freedom Park in the Egyptian capital.
