Hansel García (adults), Arán Medina, Alex Hernández and Amanda Estopinán (15-17 years) and María Carla Insua (11-12 years) will compete in the regional tournament.

Other members of the delegation are Yesmey Rodríguez, Armando Becerra and Julio Carrillo. The two latter will be in the reserve.

Hansel García is a former water polo player who won the 50- and 100-meter freestyle competitions recently in Cuba.

The delegation that will participate in the World Championship will include Pedro Medel and David Rodríguez (backstroke), Heisy Villarreal (freestyle) and Yumisleisis Morales (butterfly), who have the best results in Cuba.
