Business strategies to promote Havana cigars and the possibilities of accompanying this product by others to increase the pleasure of its consumption were analyzed during the meeting.

The Economic and Commercial Counsellor of the Cuban Embassy in Japan, Frank Abel Portela, who was invited to the meeting, talked about the history of the aromatic leaf, the preference for Havana cigars worldwide, and their excellent combination with Cuban rum.

The meeting, held annually by ITC with its main clients made it possible to exchange ideas on new ways to promote the famous Cuban product and to increase its presence in the Japanese market.
