The lecture, attended by the Cuban Ambassador in Finland, Sergio Gonzalez, was part of a series of exchanges between Cuba and Finland, promoted by the Finn Association of Friendship with Cuba.
Las Tunas was one of the Cuban territories hardest hit by some hurricanes last year. In spite of this fact, it has managed to maintain one of the lowest infant mortality rates of the country with only 2.7 deaths per every one thousand live births.
