She also stressed just how much can be accomplished when cooperation and friendship become the basis of joint work, at a time when market credos govern international relations.
Zhao Rongxian, Ambassador of the People’s Republic of China in Cuba, pointed out that educational exchange programs between the two nations are growing and becoming more fruitful every day. He also thanked the government, Party and people of Cuba for the hospitality shown to the Chinese students.
Gustavo Cobreiro, Rector of the University of Havana, told graduates that, in addition to the diplomas they received, they take with them something more important: a confirmation of the strong bonds of friendship and cooperation between the two countries.
Ricardo Cabrisas, Vice President of the Council of Ministers, Hilda Vasallo and Lissette Díaz, officials of the Party Central Committee and Council of State, respectively, were among those in attendance.
