The meeting will debate topics on several medical specialties, including orthopedics, pediatrics, gynecology and ophthalmology, just to mention some.

Dr. Rodrigo Alvarez Cambras, director of the Frank País International Scientific-Orthopedic Complex, pointed out that two courses will be held prior to the congress.

Alvarez Cambras himself will be the main professor in one of the courses, while Arab experts headed by Dr. Issam Khawaja will give the other course.

The meeting will boost cooperation between the Arab nations and Cuba, based on the experience gathered in the 1st Congress held in Amman, Jordan.
