Cuba Participates in Traveling Exhibition of Caribbean Films, Dedicated to Children in Suriname

The event is organized by the Culture Section, the Back Lot Cinema Foundation of Suriname and the Cuban Embassy in this country, and it consists of 40 materials from 12 countries of the region, including documentaries, fiction films and cartoons.
Films from Cuba, Suriname, Trinidad and Tobago, Belize, Colombia, Jamaica, Haiti, the Dominican Republic, Nicaragua, Curacao, Costa Rica and Venezuela are participating in the event, hosted by the Thalia Theater in Paramaribo.
This exhibition is the result of an initiative by the Cuban Institute of Cinematographic Arts and Industry (ICAIC) and it intends to become a communication bridge among the history, languages, traditions and arts of Caribbean nations.
