Manu Chao (Paris, 1961) is again in Cuba, after three years of its last concert in Havana, to dedicate this time, two homage shows to guerrilla Ernesto 'Che' Guevara, symbol of the Cuban revolution.

Manu Chao, ex leader of the French band "Mano Negra", is considered an icon of the alternative music. The Gallic musician, son of spanish emigrants, will offer the first concert next Friday October 9, in Havana University. He will share the scenario with the Cuban musician Kelvis Ochoa.


The second concert will take place about 300 kilometers away from the capital, in the "Augusto Caesar Sandino" stadium, in Santa Clara's city, where stand the monument with the mortal remains of guerrilla's Che Guevara. This will be next Monday October 12.

The Polish designer Jacek Wozniak, responsible for the covers of all his discography, during the concerts will mount, in conjunction with Cuban painters, a mural dedicated to Che Guevara.
