Part of the Cuban capital’s scientific area, Neuronic has, as its main objective, the commercialization of products resulting from the research work and the development of Cuba’s Center for Neurosciences.
After more than 20 years of technological investigations aimed at neurophysiologic studies, which have proved their excellent results in the Cuban healthcare system, Neuronic is responsible for the production of electroencephalographs and electro-myographs, the two main equipments it commercializes.
At present, this leading Cuban company based in Saragossa, Spain, exports to over 20 countries in North America, Asia, Africa, Europe and Latin America.
In statements to ACN news agency, a trade specialist with Neuronic, Odalys Lopez, said that having a factory in Spain guarantees the quality standards and certifications that enable it to have access to the world market.
She also stressed that Neuronic’s growth and control of technology made it possible for the company to begin exporting and commercializing its products, but in view of the impossibility of obtaining the certifications used in The Americas, which are given by the U.S., they had to move to the European market, as they have the same commercial value.
In April this year, Neuronic won the National Exporter Award for the volume of goods commercialized.
Due to Washington’s blockade and the need of accessing components and the purchasing of the parts making up the equipment, were the main causes of looking for options in Europe.
