Cuban Volleyball Team to Japan

Cuban Men''s Volleyball team travels to Japan to take part in the World Grand Champions Cup, which is scheduled from November 18 to 23, in the cities of Osaka and Nagoya.
Cuban team coached by Orlando Samuels, which won North, Central America and the Caribbean (NORCECA) Volleyball Championship, will show a lineup similar to the one who played at NORCECA.
Roberlandy Simon, will be the team captain, followed by Wilfredo Leon, considered NORCECA's most valuable player. Others are Raidel Hierrezuelo, Michael Sanchez, Osmani Camejo, Yoandri Leal, Keibel Gutierrez, Rolando Cepeda, Fernando Hernandez,
Odelvis Dominico, Yoandi Diaz and Henry Bell, which did not play at NORCECA.
Cuba will meet 2009 World Champion Brazil in its first game on November 18. Later Cuba will meet Poland, which is the European champion, then will rest next day,on November 20, and will meet Egypt, Japan and Iraq on November 21, 22 and 23 respectively.
Cubans returns to World Grand Champions Cup after four years.
Cuban teams got gold in 2001 and bronze in 1993 and 1997.
