Venezuelan feature films Libertador Morales, el Justiciero and Cheila, una casa pa´ maita will be screened at the 31st Havana Film Festival, the organizing committee announced.

Both films will be shown in the Latin American Panorama section, while Yo soy el otro, by Marc Villá and Cuando la brújula marcó el Sur, by Laura Vásquez, will compete in the Documentary Films section.

Zamora, tierra y hombres libres, by Román Chalbaud will be shown out of the competition.

Premiered ten weeks ago, Libertador Morales, by Efterpi Charalambidis, won the Public’s Award at the Latin American and Caribbean Cinema Film Festival of Margarita in 2009, and was selected as one of the possible nominees for the Oscar Awards.
