In the 31st edition of the New Latin American International Movie Festival, 28 unpublished scripts shall be competing, which are the ones being presented in its Official Section. Argentine and Colombia have 6 each, as well as Chile (5) and Cuba (4),  

among the nine countries that are participating in this category. There will also be pieces from Mexico, Peru, the Dominican Republic, Uruguay and Venezuela.

Also, in the posters competition, there are 17 works at the contest among six countries stand out the Cubans with eight posters. After Cuba come Venezuela (3), Argentina (2), Colombia (1), Brazil (2) and the Dominican Republic (1).
