Program preventing the spread of A H1N1 ends in Tuna province

The 99.9 percent of the population at risk were vaccinated in Las Tunas province against Seasonal Flu as part of the program aimed at preventing the spread of A H1N1.
Even though this vaccine does not create immunity against the A H1N1 Influenza virus, it protects against complications caused by three stumps of seasonal flu virus.
Family doctors and nurses, and workers of the different health institutions administered the doses, by means of a shot.
