Where commercially viable crude deposits have been found, will send oil workers to Cuba for training, New Vision reported, citing a statement from the president’s office.

The plans were agreed during a four-day visit to the Caribbean island by Ugandan President Yoweri Museveni earlier this week, the Kampala-based newspaper said, without giving further details.

Tullow Oil Plc and Heritage Oil Plc have discovered 700 million barrels of oil at the Lake Albert Rift Basin in Uganda, according to Tullow.
