For the second year in a row, Cuba’s Varadero seaside resort, located around 130 kilometres from Havana, received one million tourists before the end of the year.
Forty percent of travellers arriving on the island annually visit Varadero, in the northern coast of Matanzas province.
Canada continues to be the main market for the country, followed by Great Britain and Spain, with a significant boost over the past few months.
More than 86 percent of rooms in Varadero are in four or five star hotels. This together with more than 20 kilometers of nice beaches has placed the seaside resort among the top tourist destinations in the Caribbean.
The area offers dozens of other tourist facilities like restaurants, cafeterias, marinas, a golf course, a dolphin aquarium and a tourism and hotel management school.
Sports are varied and nice to have a warm journey throughout the whole journey, com and visit us, it is worthwhile.
