 Eastern Santiago de Cuba province readies for the 30th Fire Festival to be held July 3rd through the 9th, dedicated this year to Curacao and the Brazilian region of Pernambuco.

It will also pay tribute to the bicentennial of Mexico´s independence and the 100th anniversary of the Mexican Revolution As usual, the organizing committee was constituted at the Caribbean House.

The festival is aimed at strengthening ties between peoples and nations in the region and heightening common cultural elements.
