Qatar has expressed its desire to strengthen cooperation with Cuba in most sectors in 2010, highlighted diplomatic sources in this capital on Tuesday during a meeting of representatives of both countries.

The Qatari Minister for International Cooperation and Acting Minister of Business and Trade Kahlid Bin Mohammad Al Attiyah passed on his wish to Cuban ambassador in Doha Armando Vergara with whom he reviewed bilateral links.

A Cuban diplomat noted the two officials praised the high level of friendship between their countries and the growing interest on boosting more exchange in health, tourism, culture and other spheres.
