Maestro Chucho Valdés, winner of six Grammy Awards, forms part of the list on the American Grammy nominees, in its 16th edition, in the category of Best Latin Jazz Album with “Juntos para siempre”, recorded a duet with his father Bebo by Calle 54 label.

In 2009, this phonogram won the National Music Award of Spain in the category of jazz, as well as the Latin Grammy, in United States.

On the other hand, in December 2009, the lauded pianist presented in Cuba his latest discography production “Los pasos de Chucho”, in a sole concert at the Amadeo Roldán Auditorium Theatre, along with his new project “Chucho Valdés and los Mensajeros Afrocubanos”.
