Las Tunas team won twice over Guantánamo on Wednesday and held on to its chances to achieve a better spot in the eastern division during this season.

The team took advantage by picking up a second victory after having lost a first game on November 5th against Guantánamo, the team that has won the most games in this Cuban Series with 37 victories, has picked up two defeats lately.

In other games results: Santiago de Cuba lost to Camaguey 6-5 on Tuesday. Matanzas beat Metropolitanos 9-8, Ciego de Ávila defeated Granma 8-0. Industriales defeated Isla de la Juventud 6- 5 in a 12 innigs game at the Cristóbal Labra Stadium.

Cienfuegos and Pinar del Río ended up playing against each other and had a tied result 2- 2 in a 10 innings game. Finally, Holguin beat 5-3 their counterpart Villa Clara.
