The constitution throughout the whole country of the Provincial Electoral Commissions, which will organize and direct the electoral processes in each territory have been constituted on Saturday.

These Commissions designate the people who make up each of the Municipal Electoral Commissions; control vote counting as well as of the District Commissions; verify the accomplishment of the requisites of those proposed as candidates for delegates to the Provincial Assemblies of People's Power to occupy those posts, confirm the validity of their election and carry out the provincial count in the periodic elections or referendums.

Among other duties, they also organize and direct the constitution of People's Power Provincial Assembly.
